The Couples Marriage Enrichment Seminar was a first for Bull Creek.  Sonny and Cindy Spurger were our guest speakers and did a wonderful job.  The day started out with muffins, juice and coffee followed by four different sessions throughout the day.  We learned different ways to relate to our spouses and were given some great insight into different areas that couples go through.  There were two particularly fun things we did.  One was a juggling act with colorful scarves led by Cindy.  Several volunteers came up to the front including Brenda Boen, Perry Stroder, Josh Hitchcock, Deb McMerrell and Iris Roland.  I can't actually remember the lesson we learned doing this but it was a great experience.  We also took a personality test by answering questions to discover if we were a lion, an otter, a golden retriever or a beaver.  During the seminar we got information on many ways to relate to our spouse including money management, exercise and other important areas.  Also during the day we had a great catered lunch and some cookies and soft drink for snack time.  Everyone left with a smile on their face and went away armed with information to help enrich their marriage relationship.
