2008 Founders Day Parade

May 3, 2008 was the celebration of Founder's Day in Emory and included a parade.  Several men of Bull Creek cooked breakfast from the chuck wagon which is owned by the Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches.  Chan Peters brought a morning devotion.  Hannah Stroder did tricks with her pony.  Larry Davis used his mules to pull the wagon in the parade which won the Mayor's Award.   Bob Bates, Shane Bates and Jared Byrd rode in the wagon also.  Later in the day a stew supper was served from the chuck wagon as a fund raiser.  Thankfully, all were kept safe and a great time was enjoyed by all.
