The Bull Creek Cowboy Church Youth Ministry hosted and New Year’s Eve Party for the Youth at the Church. The TFCC (Texas Fellowship of Cowboy Churches) brought their mechanical Bull to the party and a young Christian rock and roll band from Tulsa, Oklahoma provided some great music!
The event packed the house ad B3C. The ladies provided refreshments in the Youth Barn and the men cooked outside on the fire giving all that were there plenty of good eats! From Hamburgers and hotdogs and great deserts the food was really fantastic!
The mechanical bull with the highlight of the night.. There was some serious competition among the youth for the grand prize buckles. Attendees of all ages got to ride before, between and after the competition. Chris with the TFCC worked the bull and he really knew what he was doing. From wee buckaroos to old timers, he would let you ride to your ability.
The competition consisted of 5 different divisions for the youth. (This was a Youth orientated event)
- Junior High Girls
- Junior High Boys
- High School Girls
- High School Boys
- Open (anyone over 18)
The mechanical bull gave it’s all during the competitions and it was real wild. Out hats are off to those who won a buckle!!
After the Competition, Chris with TFCC, delivered a great message to everyone just before midnight and at 12:01 everyone ate a big bowl of blackeyed peas and cornbread.
