How it all started...
Our story began back in 2003, not through human planning, but through God’s leadership. What started as a simple Bible study in a barn geared toward the cowboys in Lone Oak quickly grew into something more: a church family.
Pastor Mike Moss opened his arena for the first gatherings and although Mike never intended to be a pastor. One evening he felt God’s call to lead — and Bull Creek Cowboy Church was formed. After faithfully serving many years Pastor Mike retired in 2016.
In December 2017, God brought us our current Pastor Jeff Jackson. A Texas native, with a heart for ministry and a life shaped by diverse experiences to include the music industry in Nashville, counseling at a trauma recovery center, and multiple years of pastoral leadership. Jeff alongside his wife Trista, bring wisdom, compassion, and a love for God’s creation to our church family.
We give God all the praise for over two decades of ministry, we look forward with joy and anticipation at what God will do next. We don’t know all that God has planned, but we do know this: Bull Creek Cowboy Church will continue to serve Him, follow His call, and share the hope found only in Christ Jesus!
