Jeff stepped into the role of Pastor/Head Elder in December 2017. Jeff has previously served in churches in the positions of Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Associate Pastor and Senior Pastor. Jeff, who is a born and raised Texan, moved to Nashville, Tn. in his twenties and worked in the music business as a singer/songwriter. Before moving back, Jeff also worked as a pastoral counselor at a non-Christian residential trauma and addiction facility for 10 years. Through this experience, and also, graduating with two Master’s Degrees from Southern Evangelical Seminary in Apologetics and Theology, Jeff has a well-rounded view of the human experience from psychology to philosophy to theology. He has spoken at many conferences on the interface of these three disciplines.
Jeff, and his wife, Trista, have been married since February 2015. Trista, born in Ohio and raised in Tennessee, put herself through nursing school while working at a residential treatment center. After successfully completing nursing school Trista has worked as a nurse both in the area of addiction/trauma treatment centers, pediatric home-health, and presently works from home as Senior Utilization Nurse Reviewer at Evicore.
Jeff and Trista have many hobbies that include hunting, horses, raising cattle and anything out in God’s creation. They both have a love for investigating the big questions of life because at the end of the day they know that they will always discover life only makes sense in Jesus.
